Hare: Ahpisto

The run is marked with white chalk. It starts at Pad Pisto and can be run at any time. Alternatively, I will run with a group starting at 5.30pm on Wednesday. There will not be a circle. This will be the usual Zoom meeting at 7pm.
The Run:-
Exiting my front gate turn right along Street 9. Turn right at the alley and come out onto Street 4, direction Spinneys. Checkpoint 1 is at the base of the car port.
Continue towards spinneys. The false trail is on the little traffic island. Return towards the check. Go into the Mosque car park on your left and follow the marks out onto the road turning left. Continue straight turning right into the next street on the right. Checkpoint 2 is on the right just before the T intersection.
Follow the trail round the corner to the right. False trail. Back to the check. From the check this time go left. Marks on the right hand side. Go through the garage will all the cars coming out onto Um Al Sheif Street. Turn right. Cross the intersection passing the abandoned kindergarten. Continue straight and then follow the road as it bends to the right. You will now be parallel with Sheikh Zayed Road. At the sigh and level with the old car turn right across the sand. Checkpoint 3 is by the car. At the road turn left towards the Medcare hospital. False trail. Head back towards the check taking the first road on the left. The marks are on the left. Turn left again and continue to the T junction. Turn left towards the hospital then go right through the paved area beside the hospital. Cross the road then turn right and then almost immediately left through the little sandy alley. Turn right and after about 150m turn left through another sandy track. Cross the road and continue straight on the paved area towards the next street. Checkpoint 4 is on the curb stone facing you. There are no more false trails.
From the check turn right. The marks are under the street lights. Follow the road. It turns left. Keep going past the Mosque on the left and continue almost the T intersection at the end. Checkpoint 5 is on the right just before the end.
Go diagonally right towards the intersection at Street 8. The marks start at the pedestrian crossing. On the other side go a short distance and then cross Street 8 and enter the alleyway on the other side. At the end of this turn right. Turn left at the next street. Continue straight across the next street and onto the wasteland. Cross another street and enter the alleyway that takes you out onto Al Wasl Road. Turn right and continue straight, crossing Street 21 at the pedestrian crossing. Go past the pedestrian lights turning right towards the alleyway with the black stepping tiles. Checkpoint 6 is at the start of the alleyway on a black tile.
Go through the alley turning left into the first street. Continue straight for a while before turning right into the first alleyway. Go through the alley, crossing the road onto the adjoining street. The On In is on the left just before the intersection. Turn left and follow the road to the end and back to Pad Pisto.
